Last year, we spent hours developing a script that would deploy a MongoDB self-healing replica set using Terraform to GCP. While the result was very useful for testing, it still required a steep learning curve for development teams that wanted to use it, as well as the time required to manage an IaaS solution.
We turned to MongoDB, who came in and worked with us to develop a workflow that allowed teams to implement MongoDB Atlas under a single Humana account, so they could worry more about the application using MongoDB as opposed to managing the IaaS infrastructure MongoDB was running on.
